I decided to look into the story behind Floyd Mayweather's ordeal that I have seen on the news a lot recently. I looked at the same story on espn.com, USA Today's website, and MSNBC's website. Floyd Mayweather was charged with 3 more felony counts in a domestic violence case in which he already had a few charges. Apparetly he threatened and hit his ex-girlfriend and also, threathened to beat 2 of his kids. All of this took place in a fight at his house after Mayweather confronted his ex-girlfriend about a new relationship she was in. He is alleged to have taken a cell phone belonging to his ex-girlfriend. All in all, Mayweather is facing 8 different charges, and if convicted on all of them, he could possibly face up to 34 years. All the sources share the same exact information on the story. They all 3 are common in the fact that they recognize Mayweather as the most well-known boxer of this generation.
If that is the case, it is likely that this is the same story being reported..meaning, it's actually an AP story just being reprinted.
